Cradle-to-Cradle Certificate
Sustainability, reusability and environmental compatibility are also important components in construction.
For this reason, BREUER & SCHMITZ was the first hinge manufacturer to have its product range certified according to the American Cradle to Cradle Certified (TM) standard.
BREUER & SCHMITZ immediately achieved the overall level of “bronze” for its most important product groups; the next level “silver” is already in sight.
Ökoprofit
ÖKOPROFIT is a joint action by the municipality, the local economy and other local and regional partners.
The advisory program supports companies and institutions in setting up a practical and efficient environmental management system. The reasoning behind this: by reducing resource consumption or avoiding waste, not only does it relieve the burden on the environment, it also lowers operating costs.
This enabled BREUER & SCHMITZ to save 1,363,000 kWh and 374 t CO2 annually.
